This past weekend was 1 year since the passing of Pastor Johann. As a way of remembrance, individuals and families from across the globe came together to worship, hear the Word of God and testify of His goodness. We had people from the states, Japan, Athens, Germany, Belgium and more meet together.
It was a blessed time. You can watch the stream in the videos below.
A number of the refugees that Pastor Johann and Sister Grace met during their initial few months in Greece have since moved to Germany. Three of these men have taken on the privilege of leading Bible Studies and building up disciples in their respective cities in Germany.
Through video calls, they are also leading daily devotions with the current residents of Zion House. It has been a blessing to witness God making disciples and disciple makers.
Through God’s provision, we were able to obtain a house for the ministry. Zion House will be a place for some disciples to live, a place to host bible studies and an open place of fellowship to the community. There are 5 refugees staying in Zion House at the moment. They have been hard at work completing the renovations on the building and have dedicated themselves to reading the Word together as they are united in Christ.
Arman, one of the refugees in Germany, is leading a Bible study in his camp site. One step of obedience from Arman grew to be such a blessing for many. We are so encouraged by their hunger for the Word of God even in the midst of their difficult circumstances. Please pray for them as they go through the book of Matthew!
In October 2019, we had a reunion in Frankfurt with refugees whom we met in Athens in the spring. One of our brothers in Christ - Saul Chung- came to visit us while in Frankfurt for a short time. Read below to see God’s provision for Saul. God truly does not waste anything for His kingdom.
